Elektror GmbH was established in the Neckar valley of Eslingen in 1923 initially manufacturing electric motors.

Since 1948 Elektror manufactures low and medium pressure
(up to 500 mbar) blowers at its privately owned aluminum foundry.

The side channel blowers or centrifugal blowers are one of the main products of Elektror. The construction consists of a cast iron body with impeller made completely of high quality aluminum.

The simplicity of installation and operation, the low noise levels and the affordable prices are the factors which resulted in making the side channel blowers to be the optimum option for supplying air at medium pressure in small scale wastewater treatment plants such as for hotels, camping sites, industries etc.

The SD blower series of Elektror cover airflow requirements from 5 up to 1000 m3/hr and pressures from 10 up to 550 mbarg.

Standard features of the SD blowers are the inlet filter, the discharge silencer and the base plate with safety relief valve, check valve and sound enclosure as main options.

All the electric motors of the SD series are manufactured in-house by Elektror and are of asynchronous type protected to IP54 or higher, which drive the blower either directly (flange coupled) or with belts.
