Aerzener Maschinenfabrik GmbH manufactures roots type blowers since 1868. The company is amongst the oldest and largest manufacturers of this kind of equipment and a worldwide market leader.
With approximately 65.000 m2 of factory area and 800 employees, the in-house technical excellence and expertise of the firm in combination with the continuous and substantial customer services assure that Aerzener and its customers are always in the front line of the technological developments.
In 1987 Aerzener develops as a patent specially designed channels in the castings of the blower to absorb the pressure fluctuations in order to reduce vibrations and noise levels. The 3-lobe rotors which followed shortly afterwards simply integrated that step forward.
Capacities: 30-65.000 m³/hr.
Sizes: 22 models of GM series: GM 3 S to GM 1080 S.
Pressure: up to 1000 mbar overpressure and 500 mbar underpressure.
Package Blowers
In 1994 Aerzener develops and launches in the market the famous “DELTA” package blowers which are an important step forward in the evolution of blowers till today.
The outlet silencer was integrated in the base frame of the blower unit, the self tensioning drive belt arrangement with the “hanging” e-motor and the minimal installation space required were just some of the advantages of Aerzener blower units.
Inlet silencer with filter, safety overpressure relief valve, non-return valve and start-up exhausting valve complement the DELTA blower units of Aerzener.
Capacities: 30-15.000 m3/hr.
Models: 16 sizes of GM series: GM 3 S to GM 240 S
Pressure: up to 1000 mbar overpressure and 500 mbar underpressure
For higher reduction of noise levels by approximately 20 dB(A), Aerzener provides fully insulated DELTA blower units in enclosures made of easily assembled galvanized panels and fire-proof polyurethane insulation layers and which are equipped with a suitable heat rejection fan. This fan, for safety reasons, is driven directly from the blower shaft hence does not need separate electric drive which could sometimes fail.
Discharge manometer, filter replacement indication and oil level indicator all are installed on the outer side of the acoustic enclosure and in a position easy to access and monitor.
