Gummi-Jaeger was established in Hanover in 1942 as a plastic and rubber component manufacturing industry. Today G-J has become a large group of companies with manufacturing facilities not only in Germany but also in the USA.
Gummi-Jaeger was the world’s pioneer to invent the well known EPDM rubber compound which has been exclusively used by everybody over the last 20 years for the production of air diffuser perforated membranes.
Most of the best known diffuser suppliers in Europe, America and Asia are sourcing their components or even their complete diffusers from Gummi-Jaeger’s factories. The annual volume of diffuser sales approximate 350.000 pieces.
In 2002 Gummi-Jaeger based on its large and unique experience as well as the innovative technology and research developed and launched in the market a new generation of membrane diffusers bearing the warranty of its own name. This new generation consists of 9 and 12 inch dia. disc diffusers plus 500, 750 and 1000 mm long tube diffusers. These diffusers are made of the latest generation EPDM compound and PP base with the option of silicone membrane for environments that attack EPDM rubber such as oily and solvent wastewaters.
The whole range of Gummi-Jaeger’s diffusers has been certified for their standard oxygen transfer efficiencies by independent European institutions in accordance with the latest ASCE standards. The complete SOTE test reports are available to all customers.
